A Statewide VIC Police service requires VR/SRMO's in General Practice on an ongoing basis
We are looking for GP’s/ED/Internal Medicine Doctors who would be willing to provide medical services to persons in police custody in the following areas:
• Mildura
• Morwell
• Ballarat
• Wodonga
The work is under an ad-hoc arrangement where the station will call the Dr directly and see if they would like to accept the booking. It could be anywhere from 1 - 4 hours work depending on the nature of the presentation. You will commonly see patients with general medical issues, presentations related to alcohol and other drugs and a wide spectrum of mental health conditions.
Pay rates for week days are $125.00 per hour and $150.00 per hour after 6pm and weekends
No travel or accommodation is offered, the Doctors need to live locally to the sites.
