The Position

Skilled Medical is seeking applications for Senior House Officers or House Officers (PGY2+) from late May 2020 or late August 2020.  The positions are 12 month fixed term full-time positions across various departments including General Medicine, ED, Orthopaedics and Relief.

Health Service

This hospital serves a population of approximately 60,000, performing 4,000 procedures annually in three elective theatres and one acute theatre. We have a total of 46 RMOs working in General Medicine, Mental Health, Emergency, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, O&G, Paediatrics, and Anaesthetic Departments and as relievers. These positions do include night and weekend shifts on a rotating roster.

The Location

A variety of outdoor adventure pursuits will be on your doorstep and Wellington is only two-and-a-half hours' away by car.

Essential Criteria

Doctors need to be already registered with the MCNZ or eligible for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway or Comparable Health System pathway.
