The Position
Skilled Medical currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Interventional Radiologist (including vascular intervention) to commence a permanent position in New Zealand's North Island commencing ASAP.
Candidates must be able to take part in the vascular interventional daytime and on-call roster and there is an option to undertake general call as well.
Candidates must be able to provide a wide range of techniques including peripheral vascular, biliary drainage and embolisation, nephrostomy tube insertion, trauma embolisation, tunnelled IV access, fistula intervention. EVAR/TEVAR procedures are also performed and there would be the opportunity to be involved with these if desired.
Contributing to the general radiology component and general out of hours roster you will also be involved in the teaching and supervision of radiology registrars from the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists.

The radiology department offers a full range of imaging modalities based on a digital RIS/PACS system and the nature of the work is predominantly emergency and inpatient cases.

Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold FRANZCR (or equivalent) and, or be eligible for, vocational registration with Medical Council of NZ. Candidates from outside of NZ are encouraged to apply.
