The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Specialist in Cardiology and General Internal Medicine (combined position) to commence a full-time position in New Zealand's North Island commencing ASAP.
Obligations include providing a high standard of clinical practice and expertise that contributes to the provision of efficient and effective Cardiology and general internal medical services, providing internal medicine services which link with Regional Cardiology Services (including outpatient sessions, inpatient care, cardiology investigations/procedures and on-call duties), provide professional clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff, actively participate in peer review and clinical audits quality improvement programmes and clinical governance.

Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold FRACP with specialist training in cardiology. Overseas cardiologists eligible for the special purpose locum tenens pathway will also be considered.
