- hospital comprises Emergency Department, General Medical Surgical ward, Maternity Unit & Operating Theatre. There is on-site pathology, general x-ray, CT scanner these diagnostic services are available 5 days per week and after hours on-call to support the clinical departments.
- The Emergency Department activity is approximately 10-20 patients per day. The operating theatre provides for elective surgery two days per week (although there is reduced activity due to COVID19) and after hours emergency surgery
- The position covers the emergency department & anaesthetics. During this time you will be the only anaesthetist at the hospital
