The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist to commence a permanent full-time position in New Zealand's, North Island - West Coast.
General radiologist obligations include reporting examinations from those modalities for which you have been trained and credentialed. Depending on this, duties and activities may include fluroscopy screening, MRI and CT lists, plain film reporting, interventional procedures, fluoroscopic examinations, attendance when requested facilitation of multi-disciplinary meetings, case conferences and reviews, provision of expert radiological advice to hospital clinical teams as requested, ultrasound reporting, nuclear medicine, research and study related to the management of a specific patient, preparation of or contribution to police, coroner, HDC, ACC and similar reports and telephone and other ad hoc consultations.

Located on New Zealand’s west coast, this region is a ideal for outdoor enthusiasts offering rugged and wild coastline, rivers, native forests and mountains.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and in addition, must hold a specialist qualification appropriate to the specialty. Doctors must hold vocational registration or be able to demonstrate a pathway towards vocational registration.
