A Southern TAS hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Geriatric Medicine/Gerontology/Palliative Care/Rehabilitation from 24/08/2020 to 02/11/2020.
SHIFTS:
Dates required -- 24 August 2020 to 8.30am 02 November 2020
Full time hours with shifts including evenings and weekends.
As per the roster - 1 in 11 on call for Wards/Unit (may be at another hospital site) covering patients under c/o Geriatrics and Palliative Care teams. There is a Consultant on-call. On-call is from home with call backs.
DEPT INFORMATION:
Geriatrics, Palliative Care and Rehabilitation
Ward has 22 beds split between these three departments. There is an allied health team and full complement of nursing staff. Patients on this ward transfer from other wards at 2 Hospitals for ongoing management of medical conditions, allied health assessments and discharge planning.
