The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a District Medical Officer Proceduralist in Obstetrics to commence a permanent position in a Northern Western Australian hospital.
The position offers an attractive total salary package up to $470,000 (with overtime and penalty rates in addition to this). This role will involve combined emergency medicine and/or outreach clinic and shared obstetric roster (1:3).
Health Service
This health service region is comprised of 5 hospitals, which provide a range GP/community health, telehealth, indigenous health, retrieval and emergency medicine services to a population of approximately 40,000 people.

Offering a combined outback and beach environment this region is well known for its wildlife, sublime canyons, freshwater swimming holes and outback stations and is ideal for doctors seeking a laid-back lifestyle.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold general registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for registration with AHPRA via the competent authority pathway. Practitioners are required to have experience and advanced skills in obstetrics. DRANZCOG or a comparable qualification is also required.
Class C Drivers licence.
