The Position

Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for vocationally registered GP's to commence a permanent position in a family medicine practice in Cairns Queensland commencing ASAP.

There is an opportunity to commence with a full patient load due to a well-established patient base and an abundance of walk ins throughout the day and night. There are no set targets and options for flexible hours and rostering to suit family needs and/or personal interests. 

Providing a broad range of medicine including dive, travel, tropical medicine, Workcover, Pre-Employment and family health this clinic supports doctors special interests.

Health Service

This busy bulk billing practice is open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and has approximately 2500 consultations per week.  Full time GPs participate in a rotating roster of approx 38 - 40 hrs, 5 days a week.

The clinic also supports other local practices for their after-hours requirements, and works closely with the Hospital to alleviate ED presentations.

Essential Criteria

GPs must be vocationally registered with AHPRA and hold fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP.
