The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon to commence a permanent full-time position in an outback Australian hospital commencing ASAP.
Candidates with 6+ years of full time service in medical practice as a Specialist and an interest Indigenous health, are encouraged to apply.
Obligations include providing high quality specialist general surgical services, through the Department of Otolaryngology, undertake outreach clinics in the wider community, provide otolaryngology advice to the Executive Director of Medical & Clinical Services, initiate and partake in quality management, peer review, ongoing personal medical education programs and undertake research as appropriate and ensure adequate supervision of and participation in teaching programs for junior medical staff and medical students.

This 180+ bed rural base hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialist and community outpatient services to a population of approximately 60,000 people including visitors to the region.

Essential Criteria
Candidates must hold Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in the specialty of Ear, Nose and Throat and equivalent of at least 6+ years of full time service in medical practice as a Specialist.
The Package
Staff Specialist Clinician SMO1.1 - SMO1.6 - Remuneration Package $211,880 - $257,588 (including salary $184,961 - $226,326).
Senior Staff Specialist Clinician SMO2.1 - SMO2.3 - Remuneration Package $265,627 - $291,433 (including salary $234,068 - $258,922).
