The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Clinical Director in Medicine in a regional hospital in Coastal Queensland.
Obligations include building and leading an exceptional performing team, delivering superb surgical clinical care, fostering a rich training and learning environment and develop the strategic academic vision whilst creating a culture of safety and support and working collaboratively with the General Manager - Division of Surgery, Nursing Director and other Directors to deliver an effective overall general surgical service.

The surgery department is located within a multidisciplinary environment and services a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland and renowned for its visiting humpback whales this location offers different sporting clubs, weekend markets and modern day amenities. It is ideal for doctors seeking a relaxed outdoor and coastal lifestyle.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and specialist registration with AHPRA as well as a class C motor vehicle licence.
The Package
A competitive remuneration package value up to $432,616 p.a., comprising salary between $179,702 - $227,842 p.a., medical managers allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
