The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Medical Officer with rights to private practice (MOPP) to commence a permanent full-time position in a rural Queensland health service.
Candidates will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $207,982 p.a. including
• Comprising salary between $155,589 - $165,290 p.a. (MOR1-1 - MOR1-3)
• Superannuation (up to 12.75%)
• Annual leave loading (17.5%)
• Motor vehicle allowance
• Professional development allowance
• Professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
• Locality allowance
• Professional indemnity cover
• Private practice arrangements.
Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Health Service
This small rural facility is co-located with a private medical practice and provides a range of hospital services from outpatients, accident and emergency, chronic inpatient, aged care, respite care, palliative care, radiology (limited) and pathology.
The Location
Rural town located in 3.5hr driving distance to Brisbane.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold vocational registration with AHPRA and Fellowship with the RACGP or ACRRM and experience in emergency medicine and general practice. Doctors must also hold a 'C' class motor vehicle licence.
