The Position
Skilled Medical currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Clinical Director of Paediatrics to commence a permanent full-time position in an Outback Australian hospital.
This position offers a unique opportunity to find meaningful community engagement within paediatric services in the region, while also managing diverse and sometimes quite complex paediatric conditions rarely seen in metropolitan centres.
A yearly salary ranging between $184195 - $233538 and generous remuneration package available (L18-L27, dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience) with an attraction and retention allowance of 50% of base annual salary, a rural and regional allowance of 15% of base annual salary, an inaccessibility allowance of $35,713 per annum, motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 to $25,500 p.a., professional development allowance of $21,000 p.a. (with 3.6 weeks PD leave p.a.) and a clincal managers allowance up to $10,780 per annum, 5 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading and FREE accommodation.
Health Service
This hospital is Level 4 with a total of 80-beds. It is a major referral centre to the region and provides a base for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The department offers general paediatric medicine, community paediatrics as well as level 4 neonatology.

Essential Criteria
Candidates must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Paediatrician.
