A Northern VIC hospital requires a Registrar or Junior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a locum HMO or Registrar for ED for Monday 03 August until Sunday 29 August. This is cover one roster line, with the roster still being developed. The locum must be available to work 4 days per week and may include any of the listed shifts.

Requirements for Locums:
• Needs a minimum of 6 months recent ED experience (within last 18 months)
• ED references are essential
• Must be available to work all shift types – 4 shifts per week
• Day shifts 0700-1630 or 0800-1730
• Afternoon shift 1400-2300
• Evening shift 1600-0130
• Night shift 2300-0830
• Accommodation is available if required in a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment close to the hospital
• No travel expenses will be paid
• HMO $110/hour OR Registrar $ 130/hour

All staff working in ED are required to have undertaken training in the Trakcare electronic Patient Record (ePR) system implemented in late 2020. Paid training sessions will be provided for anyone not yet trained in the system.
