The Position
Join an emerging tertiary health service undergoing a rapid extension in the wonderful geographical environs of Sunshine Coast.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology (O&G) Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist) is responsible for providing high quality O&G management at the health service. The Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist) providers clinical management and leadership in the Rural O&G and other disciplines (according to training) that are innovative, encourages participation in treatment car aimed at achieving demonstrable improvement in the patient outcomes. A sub specialty interest in anesthetics is desirable.
The Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist) reports to the Clinical Director Medical Services.

This is a location city in Queensland, Australia. In the Wide Bay-Burnett District, about 170.7 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. The city lies on the Mary River.
Essential Criteria
The scope of clinical practice is but not limited to:
Specialist General Practice in Obstetrics that includes normal deliveries, assisted delivers and caesarean sections and basic elective, emergency gynecological procedures including laparotomies in emergency gynecological situtations.
The Package
Permanent part time up to 40 hours p.f hrs nego.
Salary $74.54 - $97.63 p.h plus other benefits.
