A South Eastern QLD hospital requires a Junior Medical Officer- Covid ward

This ward is in an isolated section of the hospital and has strict guidelines on entry/exit for obvious reasons. The candidates for this area must have had both Covid-19 vaccinations, be ‘Fit Tested’ which can happen at the hospital as well as be prepared to not visit other areas of the hospital including common areas, eateries etc.

The main role here for the SHO is that they are available to assist the nursing team if any deterioration of a patient is identified and follow the relevant escalation pathways for medical treatment. Swab testing of patients and minimal use of the ieMR system may be required.
