A Northern NSW hospital requires a Senior Registrar/CMO in Emergency Medicine
We need experienced Medical Officer/s (PGY6 +) to cover the our clients Multi-Purpose Service. It is a local community level 2 rural MPS, and provides health, aged care, and emergency services in the one facility to provide flexible health care tailored to the local community of approximately 371 people.
The Emergency Department provides a 24/7 service and the inpatient unit has four single rooms. The Outpatient Clinic is run most week days and also provides Allied Health services such as Medical Imaging, Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Social Work.
The Doctor will be working as a Sole Practitioner covering the daily clinic, Emergency Department and inpatient ward with direct telephone links to Lismore Base Hospital Specialists. The locum will be supported in the Hospital by very experienced Senior Nurses in the ward and ED staff.
The following shifts need to be filled:
Monday to Friday (on call over weekends)
0800 – 1800hours
1st November 2021 until 28th November 2021
