A Southern NSW hospital requires a Senior Registrar/CMO in Intensive Care Medicine from 01/11/2021 to 06/12/2021.
We are looking for Critical Care CMO’s, must have current advance life support.
It’s not an ICU – it is a close observation unit (similar to HDU) and has 8 beds in total. It is an open unit i.e. the patients are admitted under the GP VMO. There is daily video link with intensivists from the ICU at SERH for support and ICU input.
This position cover the COU and runs the CERS/MET call pathway at the hospital for adults. We are looking for CMOs/Locums with experience in running CERS calls and we have allocated a clinical lead to assist the locums in training in this area.

We foresee that the acuity of the patients with lower compared to any ICU; for example uncomplicated MI, etc.
Rate $160 per hr
Preferable 7 on 7 off
8am-8pm
8pm-8am
8am 1 November – 8am 8 November
8am 8 November – 8am 15 November
8am 15 November – 8am 22 November
8am 22 November – 8am 29 November
8am 29 November – 8am 6 December
