The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Clinical Director in General Medicine to commence a permanent full-time or part-time position in regional VIC.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to innovative and create a flexible care delivery model for multidisciplinary services. The department will be integrated with the ED, CCU (including ICU, HDU and CCU beds), General Surgery, Anaesthesia and Hospital in the Home program to support consistent and smooth patient care.
Health Service
This 122 acute bed hospital is the major referral central for the region and provides a 24/7 emergency department and a comprehensive range of specialist and medical services to a population of approximately 100, 000 people. There are about 25,000 emergency department attendances, 19,000 admissions, 7,000 surgical procedures and nearly 700 deliveries annually.
The Medical Unit provides referral clinical services and contribute to undergraduate and post-graduate education. There is a particular responsibility to provide a supportive and stimulating educational experience for medical students and early postgraduate medical and nursing graduates and a career base for young consultant general physicians.

Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians (FRACP) with the Medical board of Australia.
