The Position
Skilled Medical are looking for House Medical Officers (HMO) for a busy regional hospital in Victoria. These positions are in their general HMO stream and are usually rotational positions. However, they can also offer all ED rotations if preferred.
Health Service
This hospital provides a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including oncology, cardiology, renal, emergency, women’s and children’s, critical care, specialist clinics and mental health services. Within a state of the art hospital, the team provides high quality services using the latest technologies. Their eleven operating theatres (including 2 endoscopy rooms), critical care, emergency and women’s wards all have access to critical services lifts that link to the helipad allowing rapid transfer of patients both in and out of the health service. Each year their onsite specialist clinics provide almost 95,000 occasions of service, they also see more than 52,000 people in the emergency department and welcome around 1400 babies into the world. The Clinical Operations Division assists with the admission of more than 49,000 patients into the hospital each year.

A thriving regional city of just over 100 000 people. Less than 2 hours' from Melbourne and a great location for families.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must be already have registration with AHPRA or be eligible to apply for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway.
