Title: Locum Staff Specialist – Consultant Psychiatrist
Classification:Specialist Medical Practitioner
Location: Hobart
Statewide Mental Health Service: Mental Health Services
Unit: Department of Emergency – Psychiatry and or Consultant and Liaison Team
Description: Provides a comprehensive Emergency Department Psychiatric Service, this includes services to the 6
bed Mental Health Short Stay Unit.
Dates: required 8 August 2022 until 4 February 2023– 5 days per week Monday to Friday - 8.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. On-call
will be required, which may include weekend work and Public Holidays. SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATE IS
REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
Shifts: Day work only. Full time hours which will include on-call
.
On Call: Will be required to work on-call and call back during this period
Support/Supervision: Clinical Director – Adult Mental Health Services
Locum CMO Rate: $2,500.00 per day. As advised above part time days will be paid at a pro-rata of the daily rate.
Flights , Accommodation and Rental Car Arranged by Locum Provider with approval for costs to be obtained from Statewide Mental Health
Services, prior to confirmation of bookings.
- SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
- AHPRA Registration Evidence of current registration must be provided prior to commencement
- Criminal History Check Evidence of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check must be provided prior to commencement.This check is to be no older than 12 months. (Conviction Stat Dec).
