Weekend Medical Ward Registrar
Shifts 0830-2030 Saturday & Sunday
• One Ward Registrar is rostered per day each weekend (08:30-20:30Hrs Sat + Sun) in addition to an ED Medical Admitting Registrar (08:30-19:30Hrs) and HMO (11:00-21:00Hrs)
• 08:30 commence day with handover from Night & Day admitting registrars, before commencement of Consultant-led ward round with assistance from medical intern
• This role will be required to cover inpatients of the three (3) inpatient medical teams in consultation with the weekend physician.
• Receive handover from Day admitting registrar at 19:00 and continue to facilitate ED
referrals/ admissions until handover to night registrar at 20:00
