• GP Based in the community of Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) located in Arnhem Land approximately 330km east of Darwin and 60km NNE of Jabiru.
• The community is situated near the East Alligator River on a small ridge between coastal black soil plain, marshes and the Arnhem Land Escarpment. Population approximately 1376, which may vary depending on season. Work is undertaken in a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical and public health services to the residents of the Gunbalanya community and surrounding outstations. Clinical support is provided by the Care Flight & District Medical Service via telephone consultations and medical retrievals. Royal Darwin Hospital is the regional hospital and provides tertiary care. This is one of 2 GP roles on site. Please note public holidays are not paid as Health Centre is closed - Clinic hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. No on call requirement - the Nurse on call responds to any call outs then contacts the RMP on call from Darwin and will then contact the Locum if required.

A Northern NT GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice
