A Central QLD hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Intensive Care Medicine from 26/09/2022 to 28/11/2022.
Urgently seeking an ICU/CCU locum to fill the below shifts:
Monday 26 September (1) Day Shift
Tuesday 04 - Monday 10 October (7) Night Shifts
Higher rates are available for these vacancies.
Day Shift:8:00am-8:30pm (12.5hrs)
Night Shift: 8:00pm-8:30am (12.5hrs)
Additional vacancies:
• Sunday 30 – Monday 31 October (2) Day Shifts
• Tuesday 08 – Monday 14 November (7) Day Shifts
• Tuesday 22 – Monday 28 November (7) Night Shifts
Clinical Skill Requirements – must be able to manage critically unwell patient and be able to work independently
1. Must be airways management competent – including:
a. Arterial Line Insertion
b. Central Line Insertion
c. Uncomplicated and difficult intubation experience
d. Some cardioversion experience
e. Manual ventilation
f. Occasional Management of mechanically ventilated patients
g. Current ALS
h. Some anaesthetics experience with procedural sedation
They also need to comfortable with being the only doctor for the hospital on duty from about 8.30pm to 7am, as there will be No consultant on call afterhours.
