The Position
An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Registrar or Principal House Officer (Internal Medicine) to join the General Medicine Division at this coastal Queensland Hospital. Specific duties will vary dependent upon the clinical specialty and some will be negotiated with the relevant consultant, the department and the individual. Each position is supervised by senior medical staff, although a reasonable degree of autonomy is expected. All PHO’s should provide leadership to junior residents working in the same clinical unit. Student placements occur throughout the year and medical staff are expected to work with the Clinical School in the education program.

The Location
The area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. It is a world famous site for observing humpback whales and a hub for tours to nearby Fraser Island.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must have general registration with AHPRA or be eligible to apply for provisional registration via the competent authority pathway.
The Package
$105 377 - $122 176 pa, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%), vocational training subsidy and professional indemnity cover
