Skilled Medical's 2014 accreditation survey result places it in the top tier of quality certified recruitment agencies.
The overall result of 8.5 out of 10 is its best result yet in over 5 years of regular accreditation surveys and exceeds the industry average of 6.8 for quality certified medical recruitment firms.
Conducted annually by an external auditor Certex International, Skilled Medical is audited for its quality systems and outcomes as part of the Australian and New Zealand Recruitment and Consulting Services Association's Service Delivery Standard (RCSA-SDS). In the same audit Skilled Medical is accredited for its ISO 9001:2008 quality systems and the NSW Health's accreditation standards for firms approved to supply locum medical staff to NSW Health facilities.
Skilled Medical's Managing Director, Dr David Campbell FRACMA, said that the result was testament to the company and staff commitment to continuous service improvement. "We are leaders in providing high level professional medical recruitment and placement services and it is pleasing that this can be verified by external quality audits" Dr Campbell said. He said the company had made considerable investment in staffing and systems over recent years and this was paying off in the level and quality of services provided. "Our quality accreditation provides a sound basis for the company's future growth and development" Dr Campbell said.
