The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for an Executive Director of Medical Services position in a regional Queensland hospital.
This position is a great opportunity for a Medical Director to build upon administration and management experience in a large regional setting. The successful candidate is responsible for the professional leadership of the medical staff across all of the health services business units including leadership to the medical workforce supported by three Director Medical Services, supervision and clinical leadership to the Directors of Medical Services, specialist medical administrators, registrars and RACMA candidates within the health service. The successful candidate also has line management responsibility for the critical functions of medical workforce recruitment, training and education, to ensure that the health service recruits the right staff and affords them the right training environments.
Health Service
Providing public health services to communities across regional Queensland including regional cities, coastal communities and remote rural towns in a catchment area of approximately 233,930 people.

This city and region is known for its charming historical architecture, pubs, rodeos, and stunning natural surrounds. It is located within 30 minutes drive from famous coastal and tourist locations.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian of Medical Administrators (RACMA) or other equivalent management qualification and a class c motor vehicle licence. Candidates with additional specialist qualifications or postgraduate clinical diploma (e.g. FRACGP/FACRRM) will be highly regarded.
The Package
Total remuneration value of up to $446,027 p.a (L27) plus, Medical Managers Allowance and is comprised of; a salary between $329,872 - $411,395 p.a (L18 - L27) including Medical Managers Allowance, up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution and 17.5% leave loading.
