The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to commence a permanent full-time position in Coastal QLD.
Health Service
This newly redeveloped hospital (approx. 230 bed) is the major referral centre for the region, and looks after a catchment area of approximately 182,000 people. The Women’s Health Unit comprises of maternity and specialist obstetrics and gynaecology services and there are approximately 1400 babies born each year.
The Location
This city offers pristine beaches, sub-tropical rainforests, and easy access to the Great Barrier Reef and famous tropical islands.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold or be eligible for Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and must hold a class "C'' drivers licence.
The Package
Remuneration value up to $445,058 p.a. comprising salary from $8,237.00 p.f. to $8,732.20 p.f. (L25-L27), or remuneration value up to $407,081 p.a. comprising salary from $6,888.00 p.f. to $8,000.80 p.f. (L18-L24), employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on-call allowances.
