The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior/ Medical Superintendent Medical Officer with rights to private practice (MSPP) to commence a permanent full-time position in a central Queensland health service.

Health Service
This small health service is located 2hr drive from the coast and includes two ED resuscitation bays, short stay beds, inpatient bays, treatment rooms and three consult rooms and a mixture of outpatient centre and a traditional rural Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of safe, efficient quality medical services to inpatients and outpatients of the Health Service including the provision of 24 hour emergency department coverage and has the right to Private Practice.
An opportunity exists to maintain selected skills at the Health Service and it is intended the MSPP will maximise their professional development as part of this appointment. Offering one service across multiple sites, the Medical Officer may be required to provide clinical services at any facility, in line with the clinical services capability of the that facility.

Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold vocational registration with AHPRA and Fellowship with the RACGP or ACRRM and advanced skills in emergency medicine.
