The Position
Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer/Rural Generalist with specialty skills in anaesthetics to commence a Visiting Medical Officer position in a central west NSW health service.
Health Service
This health district is comprised of two hospitals (27 and 28 bed) and service a population of approximately 15,000 and 10,000 people respectively.
The anaesthetics department is comprised of two procedural hospitals providing surgical and obstetric services, birthing approximately 300 women annually. On-call anaesthetics services are also required.
The Location
This country town is renowned for its radio telescope and is set amid a diverse agricultural industry including sheep farming, olive and wine growing.
Essential Criteria
Doctors must hold fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP and current clinical experience in Anaesthetics with successful completion of JCCA (or equivalent) and current CPD in line with JCCA requirements.
