The Position
The primary responsibility of the General Practitioner Obstetrician (GPO) is to work in collaboration with midwifery staff to provide safe, effective and efficient clinical care of obstetric patients who are in-patients of, or attend the Hospital.
The GPO will also provide advice and care for patients requiring family planning and sexual health management.
In collaboration with other medical, nursing and health professional staff, the GPO may also be responsible for providing safe, effective and efficient clinical care of in-patients or patients attending the Urgent Care Center.

This permanent position is suitable for qualified UK & IE Doctors, subject to meeting professional registration and work visa requirements. AHPRA Medical Board of Australia registration requires UK Medical graduate qualifications or PLAB certification.
