Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Intensive Care Medicine)
Purpose of the role
Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Intensive Care Medicine), ICU, Womens & Perioperative Services – Cairns and Hinterland Hospital & Health Services
Join an enthusiastic, supportive team of intensive care specialists delivering high quality intensive care, as well as advice on the management of critically ill patients throughout Far North Queensland and the Torres Strait.
Provide high quality clinical care to patients requiring Intensive Care at Cairns Hospital and advice on the management of critically ill patients throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service catchment area, including patients in geographically isolated areas of Far North Queensland.
It is a condition of employment for the employee in this role to be, and remain, vaccinated against or non-susceptible to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs): Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chicken pox) Pertussis (whooping cough) Hepatitis B.
PD available upon request.
Remuneration
Remuneration value circa $400,000 p/a

This permanent position is suitable for qualified UK & IE Doctors, subject to meeting professional AHPRA registration and work visa requirements.
