On call required
General Practitioner (Must have relevant Fellowship) required for Cobram Medical Clinic (co-located with Cobram District Hospital). Consulting Monday to Friday with on-call/recall* commitment to cover the hospital’s Urgent Care Centre, Acute Ward and residential aged care.
About the Medical Clinic:
The Clinic is a privately operated medical clinic owned by NCN Health.
The practice is fully accredited and prides itself on comprehensive and coordinated person centred health care to individuals and families in our community.
The Clinic has 4 GPs who provide a wide range of medical services.
The GPs are well supported by dedicated administration staff and skilled practice nurses who work closely together in the clinic to deliver high quality care and services.
Bookings – 15 minute bookings – 4 patients per hour
The Clinic is proud to be a teaching practice for Interns, and Medical Students. We provide mentoring and have good relationships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in relation to the Registrar Program, Murray to Mountains (M2M) Intern Training Programs and the University of Melbourne (MoM) for Medical Students.
The clinic is situated on the Victoria/NSW border along the beautiful Murray river. It is an easy 3 hour drive to Melbourne or 50 mins north of Shepparton.
Remuneration
$2,000 + GST per day when not on-call (Consulting hours 0830 to 1700)
$2,400 + GST per day when on-call/recall (Consulting hours 0830 to 1700 Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm weekends and public holidays)
*2 weekdays on call days per week plus 1:3-4 weekends
Private accommodation (Hospital rented 2 bedroom self-contained unit – no pets permitted) with reimbursement for travel (KMs/ATO rates).
