The Position
The Department of Surgery at the Mackay Base Hospital are looking for two General Surgery - Staff Specialist's to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. Special interest in Colorectal / Upper GI or Abdominal wall desirable but not essential.

Essential Criteria
Mandatory possession of a medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution and;
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration in Surgery or appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia to practise in the specialist position and;
- Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian and College of Surgeons (RACS).
- Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
The Package
- Total remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27) is comprised of: A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27)
- Total remuneration value of up to $470,780 (L24) is comprised of: A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24)
