Acts as Principal Investigator on studies, assuming ultimate responsibility for the safety, wellbeing, and rights of trial participants

Essential Criteria
- Eligible for New Zealand medical practitioner registration with a current practicing certificate and professional indemnity cover.
- Must have substantial postgraduate experience, plus a suitable postgraduate qualification, in conducting first-in-human clinical trials; for example, one of the qualifications listed in the ABPI Guidelines for Phase 1 Clinical trials, 2018 edition.
- Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH/GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- At least 5 years experience at a clinical research site, with experience as a Principal Investigator in first human clinical trials.
- Proven leadership/management experience.
