- Capacity of 27 beds and 2 birthing rooms. Of the 27 beds, three are maternity beds and two are high observation beds. Emergency department has five beds and one Resus Bay.

A Western NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 13/07/2024 to 14/08/2024.

Face-to-face clinical handover with ED doctors in the Emergency Department.
• Inpatient ward rounds from 0800-0930.
• Document daily ward rounds, provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as required.
• Provide medical care to Hospital in the Home patients.
• Provide medical care to admitted postoperative patients.
• Provide medical care to patients in the Emergency Department when the ED is busy and requested by the Nurse Manager.
• Provide medical care in the Emergency Department during the ED Doctors meal break.
• Provide surgical assistance in theatre when required.
• Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
• Provide clinical review and rapid response services for admitted patients.
• Participate in trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
• Check pathology and radiology results in the medical results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.
