- The Facility has a five bed Emergency department with a doctor available to attend onsite. Virtual care is available 24/7 through the use of our vCare camera system ensuring all unwell patients can receive emergency care after hours.
- The hospital has a general ward that caters for Medical and Surgical patients with a capacity of 16 beds with surge capacity to 23 beds. The Maternity Unit has two birthing rooms and a capacity of eight beds providing care for well women, higher risk pregnancies are referred to Dubbo Health Service or other appropriate facilities according to patient needs. There are two Operating theatres, four recovery beds and eight day surgery chairs. Theatres operate an average of three days per week with on call services provided 24/7 for emergency obstetrics.

Doctor Required: GP with 5 years postgraduate experience, including extensive recent experience in emergency medicine\critical care medicine. Must have completed Rural eMeds training. Experience: Demonstrated competency in clinical skills including advanced life support with ability to perform ALS procedures, interpreting patient history, physical examination, pathology, ECG and radiological investigations to diagnose simple and complex Emergency Medicine presentations. Must have Emergency, Trauma, Adult & Paediatric Life Support experience and advanced adult and paediatric life support skills.
