A Western SA hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine from 21/10/2024 to 25/10/2024.
SHIFTS:
Monday 21st October – Friday 25th October inclusive 2024
Hours and On call:
Standard working hours 8am to 7pm (base schedule below)
Local on call 8am to 7pm Monday - Friday
Regional on call for 3 x district hospitals 1 in 3, overnight on call 7pm to 8am.
SAVES (SA Virtual Emergency Services) program is used for category 3, 4 & 5 presentations.

Base Schedule:
8am to 9am Attend local Hospital for Ward Round (and any other GP tasks required)
9am to 12:30pm Medical Practice (schedule as per appointment book)
12:30pm to 1:30pm Lunch
1:30pm to 5pm Medical Practice (schedule as per appointment book)
5pm to 7pm (max) Attend local hospital to complete any required GP tasks
