- Hospital comprises Emergency Department, General Medical Surgical ward, Maternity Unit & Operating Theatre. There is on-site pathology, general x-ray, CT scanner these diagnostic services are available 5 days per week and after hours on-call to support the clinical departments.
- Accommodation is provided in a self contained duplex located on the health service campus. Travel provided up to $800 cap
- Supported by the local GP when available. Provide Emergency Surgical Assistance. No additional on call payment, included in the flat rate. It is a 12 hour shift either 0700-1900hrs or 1900-0700hrs, the doctor is 2nd on call for the opposite shift.
