- The ICU SRMO is usually the most senior Junior Doctor rostered in ICU ( This health service does not have 25-hour ICU Registrar cover).
- During the night shift the SRMO is supported by 1x RMO rostered in ICU and 1x consultant on call

An Southern NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Intensive Care Medicine from 04/11/2024 to 06/11/2024.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing patients in ED that have been referred to ICU
• Attending Rapid Responses
• Attending Code Blues
• Reviewing post-op patients for ICU in recovery.
• Rounding – there is a night ward round in addition to the day rounds.
Team/Staffing:
• Each shift you will be rostered with an RMO
• The RMO is responsible for covering CCU overnight as well – they attend the clinical reviews
• Consultant on call 24/7
• In the hospital overnight there is 1x Medical Registrar, 1x RMO ward cover, 1x Paeds Reg, 1x Anaes, O&G, Surg, Ortho Reg on call and ED staffing.
At times some shifts will be covering the ICU RMO. In this role you will support the SRMO and help in CCU for night shifts..
