The Position
A great opportunity for a permanent Anaesthetist to join this New South Wales hospital on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
Core Scope of Clinical Practice for Specialist Anaesthetists includes knowledge and skills in the planning and management of general anaesthesia, sedation, regional anaesthesia/analgesia, airway management, acute pain management, perioperative medicine, resuscitation, trauma and crisis management, and safety and quality in anaesthetic practice

The Anaesthesia Department at the hospital is a cornerstone of the hospital's surgical and procedural services, playing a critical role in patient care across a broad spectrum of specialities. The department is located within the modern facilities which opened in 2022, and is part of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD).
Equipped with cutting-edge operating theatres, advanced monitoring systems, and modern recovery rooms. The department is supported by a high-dependency unit (HDU) for post-operative and critical care needs.

Essential Criteria
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA (or nearing completion within six months) and/or eligibility via overseas specialist pathways.
- Recent, comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia demonstrating expertise as a medical professional.
The Package
- Base Salary up to $251,618 p.a
