The Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of our Retrieval Service.

A Northern NSW hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine

We are looking for a Specialist Gastroenterologist to cover the following dates:

0800hours Friday 16th May 2025 until 2000hours
1600hours Tuesday 20th May 2025 until 1200hours Friday 23rd May 2025
0800hours Monday 26th May 2025 until 0800hours Friday 30th May 2025
0800hours Friday 13th June 2025 until 0800hours Friday 20th June 2025

The Specialist Gastroenterologist must have GESA.
The Specialist will work 0800-1700hours each day with on call overnight from 1700-0800hours each day.
The Specialist will be required to cover ward rounds, scope lists and clinics, as well as cover on call.
Supervision and training of Junior Medical Officers is a requirement.

Daily rate is $2500per 24hour.
We will provide accommodation, hire car and reimburse reasonable travel.
