The Position
An excellent opportunity exists for a Staff Specialist General Physician with additional sub specialty expertise (particularly in Geriatric Medicine or Cardiology) to join a collaborative team in a permanent full-time position. The role offers a 0.5 FTE General Medicine component and 0.5 FTE allocated to the candidate’s area of sub specialty interest. You’ll contribute to inpatient and outpatient services, participate in clinical governance, and provide mentorship to junior doctors in a regional hospital setting

Essential Criteria
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General Medicine
• Sub specialty qualifications (ideally in Geriatric Medicine or Cardiology)
• Specialist registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to regional healthcare, teamwork, and supervision of junior medical staff
